The Retreat has its own cricket pitch and the cricket team play matches twice a week between April and September. All staff are welcome to participate.

An all-weather path follows the boundary of The Retreat’s grounds which allows staff (and patients) to get some fresh air and stretch their legs admiring the beautiful 40 acres of grounds.  A vital part of the therapeutic environment enjoyed today, and set up by William Tuke over 200 years ago.
