A photography exhibition is taking place at The Attic Gallery, Harlequins, King Square, York showing photographs taken by patients on the Hannah Mills unit as part of the weekly ‘Snappy Happy’ Group.
This group meets once a week, with the support of a professional photographer, and is aimed at anyone with an interest in photography. It helps people on their journey to recovery by using photography as a reason to explore the sites of York and visit exhibitions and art galleries, giving them an interest to life outside of the unit.
This exhibition is a joint venture between the photography groups of The Retreat and York Mind and is open from 11 to 31 July 2012, Thursday to Saturday 12 noon to 8.00 pm.
Everyone is welcome to visit and there are postcards and greetings cards for sale.
