Getting an Assessment
- If you think that your child has Autism you should contact your GP. Your GP can refer him or her for an assessment as they have access to the correct referral form.
- If you are working with a Social Worker CAMHs you can contact them. They can make a referral for an assessment. The SENCO at your child's school can also make a referral.
If your child already has a diagnosis of Autism then they will not be able to access our NHS-funded service, which is for assessments only.
