The Retreat is holding a Half Day Conference for mental health professionals on the afternoon of Wednesday 20 March.
We are delighted to have guest speakers from the University of St Andrews talking about Adaptive Interaction, a non-verbal communication technique for interacting with people with advanced dementia.
After the coffee break Dr Jo Watkins, consultant psychiatrist for The Retreat's Older Adult Services, will present a talk about alternative placements for older adults from forensic services.
