Shortlisting and the Selection Process
If you are fortunate enough to be shortlisted for interview, congratulations! The following information may be useful:
- Interview preparation – consider researching the unit or department you are applying to work on, and our values
- There are usually between 2 and 4 people on our interview panels, who each represent different parts of the organisation. We are also keen to ensure patient involvement so the panel may include a service user, or you may be asked to attend a group meeting as part of the selection process with patients. We value our patients feedback and this is used as part of the decision making process.
- We also appreciate that the interview and selection process is very much for the candidates benefit, for them to establish if the role, unit/ department and organisation is right for them. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions during this process to help you build a better understanding about who we are and what we do.
